"My heart is a kaleidoscope"

So, yesterday I watercolored the lineart of this piece. It took roughly 2.5 hours and entailed a lot of watercolor mixing and technique usage. I haven't watercolored in a LONG time (that was worth anything

), so I was going, "Okay, wet-wet, or dry-wet for this? Okay, how do I make these flecks again? This crackled look?"

Anyways, I am extremely proud of this. I don't know why, but I am. I had fun with it, and took my time to make SURE I had fun with it.

I've also been doing inkings one day, and watercolor the next day... it seems to help out. I'm really impatient, and want to get what I'm thinking out, so when I do a complete piece in one sitting, I get sick of it.

Anyways, here's Usagi and Luna. Again, I did use a reference for her dress.
