The water made her clothes heavier than she could remember, her Royal uniform darker than it's intended colors from gunpowder, water, and blood. Her hair was soaked to her scalp, snaking down her face and seeping between her lips. The salt's sting didn't stop her from thrusting her sword between two central ribs in the chest of the opposing Pirate.
The crusty man fell with a groan, holding his chest, and jolting his body when the woman jerked the sword out of his body with a "CRACK" of his ribs sounding. Her body hunched forward, with numerous spots oozing blood, she screamed with her face contorted in rage and pain, at the pirates surrounding her, "Who is next? I'll stab this blade through every last one of you," she stumbled, holding her side with her free hand, crimson leaking between her fingers. "You!" She pointed her sword at a man with a bandana, screaming at him, "I haven't got all day!"
The man smirked, tucking his pistol into the holster on his hip. He tilted his head back, rainwater spilling from his wide shoulders. "What's your name, Lass?"
"Death," she snarled, her eyes animalistic and scanning the deck of her beloved royal ship. Her crewmates lay scattered in pieces and lumps around the blood and water stained wood. "What good is a name when I won't be around long enough to use it?"
"Lass. Your name," the pirate frowned, and every live body tilted as the ship rocked from the storm.
"Daphne Riquene," she spit out, using her sword now to balance herself, not wanting to go onto a knee from pain at a time such as this.
The pirate scanned the murderous bunch surrounding Daphne, then spoke calmly, extending a hand to her, "You have a choice, m'dear. Die as Daphne, or live as...," he paused, in thought, then smirked, "Eolande Tanvir."

Ah, so a friend of mine is opening a FFT RPG. is doing a call for those interested. I know I am.
This is my pirate character, Eolande Tanvir. In her late twenties and a nautical genius, she grew up with her father a commander in the Royal Navy, and grew up herself on ships, finally landing a job being first mate on a Royal Armada Ship. The ship was jumped by Pirates, and after the entire crew was killed, Daphne/Eolande actually killed one of the pirate leaders in a swordfight, impressing the pirates enough to request her join them. After years of pirating, she would eventually become second in command...
Eolande belongs to me, do not steal. Art is miiiine.
Amazing job as per usual! Always envious of the way you do hair. The background is a nice touch might I add. Your hands are getting better as well as your overall bodies!

The drawing itself is very good, but the history beneath makes it outstanding.
Those few color spots are very attractive.
Maybe her neck is too straight, too steady.

It is not always what you get or loose during your lifetime. The way itself, your own path of life is what defines you. It means everything.
